Achieving Your VBAC Class

At this 2 hour workshop you'll explore the safety and practicality of achieving the VBAC you've been dreaming of. Learn about crafting a birth team that will support your goal, the safety and statistics of VBAC, and things you can be doing throughout your pregnancy to bring you closer to your goal.  Our 'Achieving Your VBAC' class is the only resource in the Grand Valley specifically for VBAC moms! The class is a one-time, two-hour session held in collaboration with Colorado Baby and taught by Laurel Carpenter. 


The class is held at Colorado Baby, a natural parenting store located at 560 Main Street in historic downtown Grand Junction, just a few blocks from our office.

What is a VBAC?

Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) is an option for birthing women who have had one or mutiple previous cesareans and wish to birth vaginally.  "In 2010, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) reaffirmed the same information they had shared at their landmark 1980 summit on VBAC and shared that yes, VBAC labors have a very high rate of success for most women," according to the International Cesarean Awareness Network.
